I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker providing tele-therapy to residents of Washington and Idaho. My work experience in rural behavioral health settings has prepared me to be well rounded in working with a variety of symptoms, conditions, and diagnoses. I use a range of treatment methodologies including Radically Open-Dialectical Behavior Therapy (RO-DBT). I enjoy working with people holistically, incorporating neurobiology into therapy. I work with individuals and facilitate RO-DBT skills groups.

Prior to opening Allenger Dialectic Therapies, I worked in a rural community behavioral health setting for 25 years. I have delivered outpatient Radically Open Dialectical Therapy (RO-DBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) for individuals,and groups skills training classes, supervised other clinicians, and designed and implemented a full range of mental health services for the life span. I work well with a wide variety of mental health concerns and diagnosis.
I have supervised and supported multidisciplinary staff through staff development, routine individual and group supervision, and overall development of agency treatment philosophy.
I am licensed in both Washington and Idaho.
I completed my MSW at Eastern Washington University and my Bachelor of Science in Psychology at University of Idaho.
